TAILGATING is the number one irritant to motorists, according to a poll this week. The habit of driving too closely to the vehicle in front topped the list of the mosthated road habits, the survey from automotive repair company Kwik-Fit found. Last-minute braking, hesitant driving and "undertaking'' - overtaking on the inside - were also among the top 10 hates. Based on responses from 1,000 adults, the poll showed women were more annoyed than men about Dolce & Gabbana Bags tailgating. However, female drivers were more tolerant about dangerous overtaking, hesitant driving or lane hogging. Kwik-Fit customer services director David White said: "It's clear the root of this frustration is the danger these habits pose. "Although driving to close to another vehicle isn't a specific offence, it's one of the most common causes of accidents. "Many accidents are caused by aggressive driving - whether driving too close to the car in front, dangerous overtaking or jumping lights. "Motorists need to remember these aren't just annoying, they put Fake Whimsical the safety of all road users at risk. "Only 2% of motorists said nothing annoyed them on the road, which shows the vast majority of us can make improvements in our driver styles."
